Jane P. Voortman
Jane P. Voortman, 76, of Center Valley, passed away at her residence on January 6, 2011. She was the loving wife of the late James H. Voortman for 53 years until his death in 2007. Born in Quakertown, PA; she was a daughter of the late Edward L. and Bertha (Harner) Miller. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Limeport. She volunteered at the Carmelite Monastery. With her husband she built and owned the Cherry Mobile Home Park in Quakertown. She was a very loving mother who was dedicated to her family and generous to others. She was predeceased by two brothers, Raymond and Marvin Miller.
Survivors: Daughters, Ann Marie Russo of Manassas, VA and Ellen M., wife of Charles L. Gehris of Center Valley; Son, Thomas J., husband of Kelly of Bethlehem; Sisters, Ruth Cox of Quakertown and Irene, wife of Edward Horn of Elliottsburg; Brothers, Edward Miller, husband of Edie of Schwenksville; Grandchildren, Jack Russo, husband of Kim, Justin Voortman, Ashley Salvatore, and Falon Salvatore; Great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Rachel, and Jonathan Russo and Elijah Albert.
Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 AM Tues., January 11, 2011 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 5050 St Joseph's Rd., Coopersburg, PA 18036. Viewing: 9:00 AM, Tues. until time of services at the church. (www.weberfuneralhomes.com)
