Jamileh E. Nemeh, 75, of Allentown, passed away peacefully at home
Thursday, February 10, 2022. She was born on February 8th, 1947 in
Mishtayeh, Syria to the late Eleia and Wahibeh Jarrah. She and her
loving husband, Aboud, recently celebrated their 47th wedding
anniversary. She was a member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox
Church in Allentown. She lived her life centered around her steadfast
faith and belief in God and that was evident with every conversation
anyone had with her. She will be remembered by family and friends as a
strong, selfless and caring person who always put others first. In addition
to the extreme dedication and love she had for her children and
grandchildren, she lived her life in the kitchen and was passionate about
cooking and baking. Jamileh is survived by husband Aboud; son Jason
and fiancée Brieana; daughter Janice; son George and partner Kayla;
four beautiful grandchildren Maximus, Kayla, Monroe, and Liam;
brothers Hessib Jarrah and Jamil Jarrah; sisters Hessibeh Elfahl and
Samia Barone; and countless nieces and nephews. She was predeceased
by sister Suhaila Nimeh and brother Fuad Jarrah. A viewing will be held
on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 10:00AM to be followed by a funeral
service at 11:00AM. Both will be held at St. George Antiochian
Orthodox Church 1011 Catasauqua Avenue, Allentown, PA. 18102
