Jamilah Abboud Chokif, 75, of Allentown died Monday July 2, 2007 in ManorCare Health Services I of Bethlehem. She was the wife of Elias Chokif for 46 years before his death on November 23, 1996. Born in Al-Mistayeh, Syria, she was a daughter of the late Yousef and Tackla (Salleet) Salibi. Jamilah was a member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church of Allentown. Survivors: Sons, George and Monzer Chokif of Allentown, Nabil Chokif of Australia and Marwan Chokif of Bethlehem; daughters, Issaf wife of Aziz Youssef of Allentown, Najah wife of Abdo Hajal of Australia and Rwayda wife of George Mastah of Whitehall Twp.; brothers, Jamil Salibi of Allentown, Abdo Salibi of Syria; sisters, Wadiha wife of Bourhan Youssef of Allentown and Wadad wife of Hanna Samanan of Australia; 21 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Services: 11:00 am Thursday, July 5, 2007 in St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 1011 Catasauqua Ave., Allentown. Call 7-9 pm Wednesday and 10-11:00 am Thursday in the church.
