James Roger Snyder, 83, of Coopersburg, passed away February 14, 2022. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Roland and Julia (Schrader) Snyder. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Eleanor (Nolt) Snyder.

Jim taught history at Southern Lehigh high school for 33 years until his retirement. He also coached football, baseball, basketball, and little league. He was devoted to his family.

In addition to his wife, he is lovingly remembered by his children: Jay Snyder and his wife, Valerie, Lisa, wife of Emil Gnasso, and Matthew Snyder; and grandchildren: Isabela, Taylor, Connor, Benjamin, and Julia.

He was preceded in passing by his brother, Neil Snyder.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
