James Clatch, 68, formerly of Whitehall and Allentown and more recently of Clarks Summit, Pa., died onDec.  20, 2018, in Clarks Summit.

Born in Hazleton, he was the son of the late James and Mary Clatch.  James was a Navy veteran and of the Catholic faith.

James enjoyed taxis, diners, and meeting new friends. He made many friends wherever he stayed and was known for his sense of humor and his abundant knowledge on many subjects.  In addition to friends and caregivers at Clarks Summit hospital, James is survived by cousins.

Graveside services will be held Friday, Dec. 28, 11 a.m. at Resurrection Cemetery, Krocks Road, Wescosville, PA.  Weber Funeral Home, Allentown, is in charge of arrangements
