James M. Bowman Sr., 85, of Walnutport, passed away March 10, 2019. Born in Fountain Hill, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late John and Kathleen (Considine) Bowman. James was preceded in death by his loving wife of 39 years, Bernice (Frey) Bowman.

He was a graduate of Hellertown High School. After graduating, James went on to honorably serve in the United States Air Force in both the Korean and Vietnam War. He held many jobs, working as a Plug Tamper at Hellertown Manufacturing, a brush salesman, a life insurance salesman, and most recently, as a security guard. His friends and family knew he loved when he was living in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

He is lovingly remembered by his two daughters, Virginia Louise and Brenda Sue; three step-sons, Jeffrey, Ronald, and Craig, and one sister, Eleanor Leonard.

In addition to his wife, Bernice, he was preceded in death by one son, James Jr., and one step-son, Randy.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place at 9am on Saturday, April 6th, 2019 at Bethlehem Memorial Park 1851 Linden St, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
