James Roy Bell, of Coopersburg Pennsylvania, passed away on July 15, 2019. He was born on January 9, 1938 in Conyngham, PA to the late: Edgar and Velma Bell and grew up in East Texas, PA. He was a graduate of Allen High School and Muhlenberg College, aluna of Adelphi University and Hahnemann Medical School. James then went on to work for Lemon Pharmaceutical, Wyeth Pharmaceutical and AstraZeneca, where he had worked for over 20 years. James loved nature, his vacation home at Lake Wallenpaupack, painting, and had a beautiful tenor singing voice. He was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church in Allentown, PA and loved to sing in the church choir. James is survived by his wife June I. Bell, Siblings: Janyce E. Williams and Robert L. Bell. Daughters: Cynthia E. Kovolchick and husband Steve, Stephani J. Bell, Lesly J. Crum and husband Randall. Grandchildren: Nicole M. Rotell and husband Vincent, Emily E. Crum, Jesse R. Crum, and Great Granddaughter Lauren K. Rotell. A Memorial Service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 4601 Tilghman Street, Allentown, PA 18104 on Saturday July 20th at 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Calvary Baptist Church.
