James "Jim" Meyers, age 91, passed away peacefully Friday, May 17, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was born May 29, 1932 in Coopersburg, the son of the late John and Katie (Frick) Meyers.

Jim graduated in the Class of 1950 from Coopersburg High School. He worked for many years at Bethlehem Steel and also did carpentry with his brother. He enjoyed traveling and camping in his motorhome. Jim loved watching Penn State football as well as the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. He was a lifelong member of St. John's U.C.C. in Coopersburg.

He is survived by two daughters, Michele (Dan) Brown of VT and Marcia (Marty) Weiss of Collegeville, PA; grandchildren Ryan Brown, Amber Shaver, and Aaron (Katie) Brown; great-grandchildren Selah, Bubbie, and David Brown; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his loving wife of 64 years, Lucille (Beck) Meyers; and his five siblings, Paul, Grace, Verna, Pap, and Roy.

Professional Services are entrusted to Norcross-Weber Funeral Home in Coopersburg. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at St. John's UCC, 538 E. Thomas Street Coopersburg, PA 18036. Interment will be private. Donations may be made in Jim's memory to Habitat for Humanity at habitat.org. Online condolences may be made at weberfuneralhomes.com.
