Jacqueline Elizabeth Lloyd, 85, of North Whitehall, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her residence on March 7, 2024. Jackie was born in Allentown to the late Joseph and Irene (Zborel) Timmer.
She was the wife of Douglas R. Lloyd whom she shared 65 years of marriage. Jackie was loving, warm, strong, and accepting. Some would say "saint-like;" see Douglas R. (IYKYK).
Jackie attended Central Catholic High School. She had a career as an executive secretary and worshipped at St. Elizabeth's and Holy Trinity Catholic Churches.
In her free time, Jackie enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, reading and taking care of her family. Jackie lived a full life marked by her unwavering kindness and her joyful and resilient spirit.
She will be deeply missed by her husband of 65 years, Douglas R. Lloyd, children Jessica Deery and husband Allen, Brandie Moro and husband Billy, Douglas J. Lloyd and wife Tracy. Grandchildren Jesse and wife Aimee, Sarah and Dan, Danielle and husband Nicolas, Jeanine, Joshua, Robert and wife Billie, Cory and Paula, Doug and Mac. Great grandchildren Anthony, Joseph, Virginia, Zachariah, Judah, Esther and Jacqueline.
Jackie was preceded in death by her sons Anthony Lawrence Lloyd and Christopher Scot Lloyd, and grandson Christopher Scot Lloyd II.
A calling hour will be held on Saturday, March 16th from 10-11am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church (4456 Main St., Whitehall) followed by a Catholic Mass. Burial will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Cemetery at 12:45pm followed by a celebration of life with food, beverages, tears and laughter.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to ALS via their website alsmidatlantic.org .
Weber Funeral Home in Allentown, PA, is assisting with the funeral arrangements.
