Jacqueline "Jackie" F. Koons, age 91, passed away October 20, 2021 at The Lebanon Valley Home. She was born November 3, 1929 to the late Harry and Mary (Porter) Leib.

Jackie graduated in the Class of 1947 from Lebanon High School. After raising her family, she worked for Van Winkles Candies, where she helped make opera fudge for more than 20 years. She loved music and was an accomplished piano and organ player. Throughout her lifetime she played the organ for banquets, during Sunday meals at restaurants, and for other special occasions. She was a member of the St. Mark's United Church of Christ in Lebanon, where she also played piano for Sunday School classes for several years. Jackie had a love for animals, with a special fondness for cats; she supported the Lebanon Humane Society. She was also known to frequent the Lebanon bingo halls.

Jackie is survived by her daughter, Debra M. Koons and her son, Donald A. Koons and wife Barbara, both of Lebanon.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband of 59 years, Richard "Dick" L. Koons.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lebanon Humane Society or a charity of your choice. Interment will be at the discretion of the family.
