Ishak Betrus of Ainalrahb, Syria passed away on April 13, 2022 at the age of 82. He was the son of the late: Tannous Betrus and Abla Kassis and was predeceased by his brother Aziz Betrus and his daughter Rose Betrus. Ishak had served in the Syrian Army as a Second Lieutenant and then he began his 35 years as an educator starting as a Teacher and eventually the Principle of Marmarita High School. He had also been a farmer through out his life. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Nawal Sankari, Children: Sahar Betrus and Mona Botros and family, Hassan Betrus and Nadia Daioub and family, Aziz Betrus and Hanaa Tarsha and family, Samar and Louai Sankari and family, Rawaa and Elias Georges and family, Touni Betrus and Deena Sankari and family, Samer Betrus and Nadine Najjar and family, Basel Betrus and Hiba Matar and family. Brother Geargy Betrus and Mona Botros and family. A viewing will be held on Monday April 18 from 9:00AM until a Funeral Service at 11:00AM both will be at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 501 Ridge Ave.,  in Allentown.
