Isaac G. "Aziz" "Ike" Makoul, 92, of Whitehall died Wednesday April 20, 2011 in the Phoebe Home. He was the husband of Mona (Sayegh) Makoul for 61years having married September 17, 1949. Born in Amar, Syria he was the son of the late George and Bahige (Yacoub) Makoul. Ike was an Allentown area self employed scrap metal dealer. He was a veteran of WWII serving with the US Army in the 32nd Medical Battalion. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Allentown. Survivors: Wife; sons, Michael and wife MaryJo of Bethlehem, John A. and wife JoAnn of Allentown; daughter Esther M. wife of Steve C. Courtright of Easton; five grandchildren, Joshua, Benjamin, Caitlin, Meredith and Kelsey. Services 11:00 a.m. Monday April 25, 2011, Weber Funeral Homes, P.C., 502 Ridge Avenue.
