Irma S. Jarrett, 91, died at her Coopersburg home on Nov. 30, 2013 with family present. She was the widow of the late John Jarrett. Born in Austria on Sept. 1, 1922 to Martha and Rudolph Schlener, she grew up in Allentown where she lived with her adoptive parents Joseph and Theresia Schreiner. She was both a gifted violinist and vocalist, and very active in the Allentown music community including the symphony for many years in her youth.

Survivors: Children Mitzi and John; grandchildren Logan and Eden; and sister Gertrude Schlener. We will miss you.
