Irma M. Durich, 96 of Macungie, died Wednesday, July 27 at the Willow Assisted Living Center. She was the wife of the late John Durich who passed away in 1990. Born in Allentown on September 14th 1920 to the late Giacinto and Mary (Spironello) Piovesan.

She attended Allentown High School and spent over 60 years as a waitress and hostess in some of the Lehigh Valley's finest restaurants. She was an active member of the Allentown Italian Club serving as president of both the ladies auxiliary and of the senior citizens group at the club. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Irma also helped run her husband's business, Roma Baking Company for several years. She was an avid bowler in her youth and also was a talented seamstress, making many dresses for her family and neighbors. Irma also enjoyed making ceramics. Her warm and vivacious personality made her a resident favorite at the Willow where she resided. Above all, her favorite occupation ended up being a grandmother and also a great-grandmother to her 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Survivors: Daughter; Anita Gaugler, Sons; Randall Durich and Terry Durich and his wife Susan, Grandchildren; Bill, Amy, Scott, Jennifer and Brian, Great-Grandchildren; C. Jacob, Julia, Nicholas and MIlo.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated: 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Church: 501 Ridge Ave, Allentown, PA. A Viewing will be held prior to service from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at WEBER FUNERAL HOME, 502 RIDGE AVE. ALLENTOWN. PA. Burial will follow.
