Hilda Doris Kester

Hilda Doris Kester, 80, died May 31, 2015 at Lehigh Valley Hospice-Inpatient Unit. Born in Limeport; she was a daughter of the late Paul J. and Marian (Ohl) Yoachim. She was the loving wife of Harry A. Kester, Jr. for over 62 years. She was a sewing machine operator for Allentown Manufacturing for 30 years. After retiring she worked for Southern Lehigh School District at Hopewell Elementary as a cafeteria and playground monitor. She was a life member of Chestnut Hill Church.
Survivors: Husband; Daughter, Joan, wife of Rodney Slota; Son, George; Siblings, Anna, wife of Hiram Helfrich, Jane Roeder, Ray Yoachim, Charles Yoachim, husband of Becky, David Yoachim, husband of Doreen, and Paul Yoachim, husband of Kathy; Grandchildren, Kimberly and Stephanie Slota; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Carl and Jack, two sisters, Faye Welsch and Elizabeth Hansen, and a daughter in law, Pauline Kester.

Services: 11:00 AM Wed., June 3, 2015 at Norcross-Weber Funeral Home, 101-B N. Main St., Coopersburg, PA Viewing: 9:30 - 10:45 AM, Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow services in Chestnut Hill Church Cemetery. (www.weberfuneralhomes.com)
