Obituary

Hermina Fichter, "Min", was born Hermina Theresa Hofstetter on February 24th, 1931, in Limeport, PA. She passed away peacefully on Monday, October 24th, surrounded by her husband and family. Min attended Allen High School and resided in the Allentown area. She spent most of her life as a stay-at-home Mom, raising her family of 5 children with her husband, Kenneth, or "Dick" Fichter. Dick and Min were married for 63 years. They were "snowbirds" for 12 years, from about 1990 to 2013. They would travel to Florida during the winters, but returned home to the Allentown area for the summer and fall.

Survivors:
Min and Dick had 5 children. The oldest two, Laura and Todd, are both deceased. Barbara Andreotta, their 3rd child, is married and lives in Vermont. Their two youngest children are twins, Michael and Mark. Michael lives in the Allentown area with his family, and Mark lives in Maine with his. Min loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much, and was known as "Mimi" to them. Mimi's grandchildren are Renee Sell, Jason Sell, Nancy King, Kelly Fichter, Kyle Fichter, Brandon Andreotta, Sean Andreotta, Chad Fichter, Casey Fichter, and Cheryl Fichter. Min is also is survived by her brother Fred Hofstetter, of Limeport, PA.

Services:
Min had asked that only a small, private service be held for immediate family, and then wished to have her name read aloud before a Sunday mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church of Coopersburg (Limeport), where Min attended church almost her entire life. The Sunday service in memorandum will be held Nov. 13th at 9:30 a.m.
