Henry J. Spisszak, of Allentown, passed away on August 21, 2016 at the age of 93. He was born in Allentown to the late Fred and Maria (Dragosits) Spisszak and was predeceased by his loving wife Kathryn in 1989. Henry was a lifetime member of many social organizations including the Liederkrantz, the Harigari, St. Nicks, and the Young Men's Club. He was an avid dancer and bowler, bowling with Allentown Liederkrantz Men's League, for whom he served as the clubs statistician. Henry was a graduate of Allentown High School, the class of 1940; he then went on to serve his country honorably in the U.S. Navy during WWII in the Pacific Theater. Henry had worked for Keystone Cigarette Sales and then went on to work for Quaker State Vending, a division of Coca Cola, where he serviced vending machines until retiring in 1989. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and enjoyed gathering once a month with other Coke Retirees for breakfast. Henry truly loved his pet beagle Mindy.
Survivors: Sons: Henry J. Spisszak Jr. and his wife Barbara, Ronald M. Spisszak,. Daughters: Judith A. and her husband Stephen J. Bukics Jr., Kathy M. Dancs and her companion Gary Fitch; 9 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren; and a Sister Rose Unger.
