Lahneman Jr.
July 8, 1932 – June 23, 2025
Henry C. Lahneman Jr., 92, of Coopersburg, passed away peacefully June 23, 2025. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Henry C. Lahneman Sr and Madge (Churchley) Lahneman. Henry was preceded in passing by his loving wife of 63 years, Mary Lahneman in 2014.
Henry graduated from North East High School, class of 1950. The next year, he married Mary and they went on to grow their family over the next six years. The family moved to Coopersburg in 1974 and Henry lived in there in the same house for the rest of his life. He and his wife loved gardening, they raised cattle in Coopersburg, went on fishing trips, and took the family on many camping trips to the Poconos. After moving to Lehigh County, Henry and his wife became very involved in St. Paul's Blue Church.
A lifelong carpenter, Henry was professionally a master carpenter but also had his own carpentry shop in his house where he worked on many projects in his spare time. In his shop he also had many model trains he loved working with.
He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Mary, wife of Tony Lowe, Henry III and his wife, Deborah, and Thomas and his wife, Kathleen; grandchildren: Henry IV and his wife, Dani, Chris, Thomas Jr. And his wife, Christina, Katherine, wife of Peter Stankunas, Ian and his wife, Caitie, Kimberly, wife of John Lipyanik, and Jill; step-grandchildren: David Mininger and his wife Shannon, Ashley Conaway and her husband, Kyle, Kaitlin Mininger and her fiancé, Phil; great-grandchildren: Jane, Ryan, Henry V, Grace, Luke, Jacob, Thomas, Kira, Bonnie, Eli, and Jack; step great-grandchildren: Emma, Kason, David, and Nina; sisters: Madge Griffith and Nancy Lahneman, and half sister in law, Elaine Barrett Lovec.
Visitation will be held Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 9AM until the service at 10AM all at Norcross-Weber Funeral Home 101B North Main Street Coopersburg PA 18036.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Henry's name to Animals in Distress PO Box 609 Coopersburg PA 18036.
