Helene M. (Baron) Pitts, 70, of Coopersburg, peacefully passed away in her home on July 25, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Gordon G. Pitts, Sr. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this past November. Born in Nanticoke, PA, on November 15, 1942, Helene was a daughter of the late Joseph T. and Helen D. (Gabel) Baron of Hellertown. Helene was a graduate of Hellertown High School and worked at Grace Realty in Bethlehem, PA, until her retirement in 2007. She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Coopersburg. Helene loved spending time in the summer at her second home in Margate City, NJ. The beach and spending time with her family were very special to her.

Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Gordon; son, Gordon G. Pitts, Jr. and his wife Kathryn, of Coopersburg; daughter, Tracy A. Hallman and her husband, Kevin, of Coopersburg; sister, Joanne A. Baron and her fiance, David Coubrough, of Bethlehem; and four grandchildren, Anthony (AJ), Emily, Delaney and Carter.

Services: A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 30 in the St. Joseph R.C. Church, 5050 St. Joseph Road, Coopersburg, 18036. Call 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, July 29 at Norcross-Weber Funeral Home, 101 N. Main Street, Coopersburg. Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery.
