Helen Nuben
Helen Nuben, 92, of Allentown, passed away on April 13, 2008 at the Lehigh Valley Hospice Inpatient Unit, Allentown. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph J. Nuben who died on Jan. 6, 1977. Born in Wilkes Barre, PA; she was a daughter of the late Mike and Minnie (Achey) Davis. She was a member of St. George's Antiochian Orthodox Church, Allentown. She worked for various Allentown Fabric Mills for many years before retiring. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Arlene, two sisters, Anna Reichel and Freda Bracken, and two brothers, Richard Davis and Frederick Davis.
Survivors: Sons, Joseph J. Jr., husband of Nancy of Bethlehem and Michael J. of Douglassville, GA; Daughter, Debra Nuben, wife of Sidney Westbrook of Spring, TX; Brothers, David "Sheik" Davis and Joseph Davis; Sisters, Marion Transue and Julie Kinsey; 14 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren, and 10 Great-Great Grandchildren.
