Helen C. (Zavilla) Klegarth, age 96, of Allentown, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-17th Street. She was born May 25, 1925 in Allentown, the daughter of the late John and Josephine (Zagnabelina) Zavilla.

Helen grew up with a larger family, consisting of her three brothers and five sisters. She worked most of her life in the retail industry, including Zollinger's Department Store and Wanamaker's Department store. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and arts and crafts. She always found time to share her love for cooking and baking with her family members. She also enjoyed her time with her grandchildren and great-grandsons.

She is survived by her two sons, Jack J. Klegarth and James J. (Susan) Klegarth; one daughter, Frances J. (William) Kershner; six grandchildren, Cheryl Kershner, Bryan (Jennifer) Kershner, Jack Klegarth, Melissa Klegarth, Stephanie (Christopher) Ward, and Tanya (Casey) Haverstock; and six great-grandsons, Brandon Guth, Joshua Guth, Carter Kershner, Lucas Haverstock, Joel Ward, and Cohen Ward.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased in 1988 by her loving husband of 42 years, Julius J. Klegarth; and her eight siblings.

Professional Services are entrusted to Weber Funeral Homes, P.C. in Allentown. A Visitation will be held Friday, January 14, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 A.M.; followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 A.M. all at Weber Funeral Homes, P.C. 1619 Hamilton Street, Allentown, PA 18102. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Whitehall. In light of COVID-19, the family requests masks be worn.
