Helen M. Gilliard, 99, of Allentown, passed away Sept. 26 at Cedarbrook Nursing Home. Born in Freeland she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Cecelia Casper. Helen had worked as a waitress at various restaurants, and had also been employed by Western Electric as a chair lady and also had worked at the former Bernstein's shirt factory. She was a former member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Survivors: Sons, Robert of Allentown, and Joseph of Long Island, NY; daughters, Elaine Ridgick of Allentown, and Joan Sell of Leesburg, FL; 15 grandchildren.
