Helen R. Fahrman, 88, passed away Jan. 21 in Allentown. Born in Hockendauqua, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Pokorny) Szilezy. Helen was the wife of Henry C. Fahrman Sr. for 48 yrs. until his passing in 1998. She worked at the former Western Electric for 21 yrs. until she retired in 1986. Helen was a member of the IBEW #375, and the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Helen was affectionately known by family and friends as "House". Survivors: Son, Edward A.; daughter, Geralynn M. wife of James E. Bowser; grandson, Daniel J. Bowser; all of Allentown; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by son, Henry C. Jr., and 10 brothers and sisters. Services: Calling hours will be held on Friday from 6-8pm, and Sat. from 8:30 -9:15am all at Weber Funeral Home 502 Ridge Ave. Allentown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Sat. at 10am at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 336 N. 4th St. Allentown.
