Helen B. Andersen, 96, of Luther Crest Retirement Community, South Whitehall Twp., passed away on Wednesday July 30, 2008. She was the beloved wife of the late Carl E. Andersen. Born August 24, 1911 in Brooklyn, NY she was the daughter of the late Bruno and Lydia (Molz) Bluel. Before moving to Luther Crest in 1999, Helen lived in Sea Cliff, Long Island, NY where she was very active in community affairs and volunteered for various organizations. She led a very active, useful and productive life. Survivors: Nephews, Herbert and wife Pat Jellender of Thousand Oaks, CA, Ken and wife Charlene Ciceron of Miami, FL; Cousins, Marilyn E. Denby of Allentown, Dolores Evers of Jacksonville, OR and Lawrence Evers of Dunnellon, FL ; Several great nieces and their children and her beloved dog, Rascal. Memorial services 1:00 pm Tuesday August 19, 2008 at Luther Crest in the multi-purpose room.
