Harvey Solomon,87, of Whitehall Twp., died peacefully surrounded by his loving family Wednesday December 6, 2006, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. He was the husband of Mary T. (Ifkovits) Solomon for the past 59 years. Born in Bath, he was a son of the late Charles and Olivia (Makhoul) Solomon. Harvey was the plant manager for the former Allentown Record Company for 36 years before retiring in 1981. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in WWII. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church of Whitehall. Survivors: Wife; daughters, Linda M. wife of Joseph G. Braun of Whitehall Twp., and MaryAnn T. wife of Richard T. Regits of Exton, PA; sisters, Mary Walbert, Minnie Sarko both of Whitehall Twp., and Nora Apgar of Lower Macungie Twp.; grandchildren, Amy Bonshak, Regina Thompson, Kevin Braun and Michelle Regits; great-grandchildren, Kate and Emma Bonshak and Andrew, Emily and Mitchell Thompson. Predeceased by sister Anna Columbo and brothers Samuel and Michael Solomon.
