Obituary

Harry L. Lemke, 75, passed away April 7 at Cedarbrook Nursing Home. Born in Tower City, he was a son of the late James and Frances Lemke. Harry was the husband of Kathryn (Atiyeh) with whom he celebrated 39 yrs. of marriage in Jan. He served as a Medic in the Army during the Korean War. He had attended the University of Colorado for 4 yrs. studying pre-med. He was employed by Thomas P. Harkins, Inc. in Silver Springs, MD as a project manager for many years prior to his retirement in 1997.He was also project manager of Applewood Development in Fogelsville.He was a former member of P.A.L. and L.A.R.K., coached youth bowling leagues in MD, and in 1955 was named Mr. Colorado in body building. He was a beloved husband, father, and devoted grandfather. He will be missed by all the lives he touched. Survivors: Wife; Son, Marc of Annapolis, MD; granddaughter Katie; brothers and sisters. Services: Memorial mass Friday 3PM at First Presbyterian Church, Cedar Crest and Tilghman, Allentown. (www.weberfuneralhomes.com)
