Harold Heckman
Harold Heckman, 81 of Coopersburg, passed away on May 10 at Valley Manor. Born in Beersville, he was the son of the late Charles and Helen (Keller) Heckman and was the husband of Gloria (Mattern) Heckman. Harold was of the Lutheran Faith. He served in the Navy during WWII; he worked for the Bethlehem Steel as a Crane Operator, & retired in 1978. Harold was the former owner of Hal's Tavern. He enjoyed raising Tropical Fish, Bowling & was an avid Fisherman.
Survivors: Wife, Daughters; Linda Brunstetter, Paula wife of Ronald Sellers all of Allentown. Sons; Gary Heckman and his late wife Mary, Chris, husband of Barbara Heckman, all of Allentown, Keith Heckman of Fogelsville, & David, husband of Diane Heckman of New Ringgold. Sister; Catherine Tommel of Allentown. Many Grandchildren & Great-Grandchildren. He was predeceased by Brothers; Charles & Kenny, Sisters; Dorothy, Mary, & Grace.
