Grace A. Vadas

Grace Vadas, 97, formerly of Allentown, died Sept. 8, 2016, in Eatonton, GA. She was the loving wife of the late Frank Vadas for 47 years until his death in 1991. She was the daughter of the late John and Sophie (Kocsi) Spisak of New Brunswick, NJ. Before moving to Georgia, Grace was a member of the Cathedral of St. Catharine of Siena, Allentown. Grace was predeceased by a daughter, Kathy Khoury. Her adventurous spirit and love of travel allowed Grace to visit every state in the United States as well as many foreign countries. When home, she enjoyed reading, knitting and solving crossword puzzles.

Survivors: Daughter, Susan Vadas of Claymont, DE; Son, John Vadas, and his wife, Dorothy (Richter) Vadas,of Eatonton, GA; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and many other family and friends.

Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30 AM, Thursday, September 15, 2016, at the Cathedral of St. Catharine of Siena, 1825 W. Turner St., Allentown, PA. Visitation: 9:30-10:15 AM, Thursday in the church. (www.weberfuneralhomes.com ).
