Obituary

Gloria B Walsh, 91, of Lower Macungie Township died January 24,2017 at Cedarbrook in Allentown. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of William Brennan and Kathryn (Prydel) Brennan. An enterprising woman with drive she raised the glass ceiling starting out in the New York Telephone Company; selling gourmet foods for Helgason Melstead New York, performing weekly live on a NY radio station; becoming an Upper Saucon Township supervisor; ran for State Representative of the 131st District and traveling around the world as an agent for AAA of Allentown but always returning to "The good U.S. of A.!" She will be truly missed.
Survivors: Daughters Lydia Patterson and husband Ronald of MD; Alison Walsh-Braver and husband Adam Braver of RI; Noreen Schlegel and husband Ronald of Allentown; Grandchildren: Christian, Amanda, Natalie and Addison. A sister: Gladys Moehring and husband Tom of NY.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Monday January 30th 2017 at Cathedral Church of St. Catharine of Siena 1825 West Turner Street, Allentown. Viewing will be held from 10am until time of mass. Interment will follow at Ft Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Online condolence may be made at www. weberfuneralhomes.com
