Gloria L. Doyle, 99, of Nazareth, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2022. Born in Nazareth, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Loraine Teel. Gloria was preceded in passing by her loving husband of over 50 years, Richard Doyle.
She worked as a seamstress at Pioneer then as a floor worker in Freeman's, both in Nazareth. Gloria moved on to work in the cafeterias at Schaeffer Elementary School and Gracedale Nursing Home. Outside of work, she was active in her church and community. She sang soprano and alto in the troubadour group and taught aqua aerobics at Oak Run Country Club. She and her husband also volunteered at Timber Ridge Nursing Home. Gloria also fulfilled her dream of playing the organ. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is lovingly remembered by her children: Ronald Huth and his wife, Mary Jean, James Doyle and his wife, Lee, and Colleen Doyle Rutt and her fiance, Tommy Morvant; grandchildren: Kirstin Tanner and her husband, Chris, Christopher Scott Elvin Rutt and his fiancee, Brittany Haight, Colin Richard Rutt and his girlfriend, Jamie Rosier, Russell James Doyle and his girlfriend, Alyscia Hill, Tracy Studebaker and her husband, Chad, Kimberly Ring and her husband, Steve, and Ronald Huth; great-grandchildren: Nathan Tanner, Bradley Tanner, Ava Ellen Rutt, Kennedy Huth, Tyler, Chase, and Mackenzie Ring, Jacob Jarvis, and Noah Studebaker; and a niece, Candice and her husband, Frank Murray of Pointe Vedra, FL.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in passing by all of her brothers and sisters.
A viewing will be held Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at 11AM until the service at 12PM all at St. John's UCC 183 S Broad St, Nazareth, PA 18064.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
