Gertrude L. Koplin, 92, of Limeport Pike, Zionsville, PA, died Monday, November 12, 2012. She was married to the late Jack R. Koplin for 41 years. Born in St. Plten, Austria on February 23, 1920, she came to the United States following her marriage in 1946. She enjoyed sharing interesting stories about her childhood in Austria and her many experiences during WWII. Trudy loved nothing more than being surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Throughout her life she found such pleasure in the simple beauty of nature. Survivors: Children: Barbara and husband Roy C. Wentz, Jr.; Dale and wife Ellen Koplin; Nancy Koplin and husband Sean C. McGowan; Cathy and husband Robert T. Jones III; Peter and wife Kristi K. Koplin Grandchildren: Elizabeth Zavos, Michael Wentz, Rebekah Davis, Tyler McGowan, Alexander Koplin, Natalie Jones, and Robert Jones IV. Great Grandchildren: Nolan, Jordan and Gavin Davis. Other family: 2 nieces and their families in Austria. Services: A calling will be held on Monday November 19 from 10 AM until a Memorial service at 11Am both at Norcross Weber Funeral Home, 101 B North Main St., Coopersburg PA.
