Geraldine "Geri" R. Harvey, age 83, of Allentown passed away on January 4, 2011 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest. She was the wife of John V. Harvey, Dr. who passed away in 1990. Geri was predeceased by parents Karl and Rose (Meyers) Posch and siblings Karl, RoseMarie, and Donald. She worked at GE/Black and Decker as an assembler for 20 years. She then worked an the Allentown School District, first as a TELLS aid and then a paraprofessional in the physical support classroom at South Mountain until her retirement. Geri also had volunteered at the Allentown Osteopathic Hospital and ABVI (Assoc. for the Blind and Visually Impaired). She was a member of Grace UCC in Allentown.
Survivors: Sons, John Jr. and wife Jane of Allentown, Karl and wife Barb of Sanatoga; daughter, Kathleen Toth and companion Robert Saeger; Grandchildren, John H. and wife Becky of Freemansburg, Janelle Fetcho and husband Rich of Coplay, Jimmy Cahill and wife Jackie of Bensalem, and Jessie Ramiriz and husband James of Pottstown. Geri had three great grandchildren, Emma, Gabe and Drew Harvey.
Services: Friday 11AM at Weber Funeral Home, 502 Ridge Ave. Allentown, with Rev. LaVerne Passman presiding. Please call from 10AM till time of service.
