George Weidanz

George Weidanz, 87 of Allentown passed away on January 7, 2016. Born in Bronx, NY; he was a son to the late Eric and Julia (Capa) Weidanz. He was the loving husband of the late Dorothy Ann (Schaller) Weidanz for 55 years until her death in 2013. George served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He worked for Bell/NY Telephone for 40 years. George was an avid Yankees fan. He was predeceased by a nephew, Jeffrey Anderson.

SURVIVORS: Daughter, Kathryn Ann Boyington; Brother, Eric Weidanz; Granddaughter, Taylor Lisanti; Niece, Marion Lanshe and husband, Stephen; Nephew, Richard Doerr; Grandnieces, Kristin and Michelle Lanshe; and many loving friends.

SERVICES: Viewing, Tuesday, January 12 from 9:30 - 10:45 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 AM, all at St. Joseph's the Worker Catholic Church, 1879 Applewood Dr., Orefield, PA. Entombment to follow the mass at Resurrection Cemetery, Allentown. (www.weberfuneralhomes.com)
