George J. Miller, 77, of Allentown died Sunday May 13, 2007 in Liberty Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of Margaret T. (Bauer) for 56 years, married January 20, 1951. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late George O. and Mary (Staub) Miller. George was employed in the developing department at Qualex, Inc., 5 years before retiring in 1992. He previously was employed by the former Classic Photo for 25 years. He was equipment manager for the past 4 years at Emmaus High School and over 40 years at Wm. Allen High School. He was Past President for the North End Republican Club and a member of St. Aloysius Young Mens Society and the Allentown Patriots. George was a bingo caller for various Allentown area organizations. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church and a former usher. Survivors: Wife; daughters, Marie C. wife of Charles F. Tepes of Northampton, Margaret M. wife of Leon Burkert of Shoemakersville and Roseann wife of Allan Wolfe of Danielsville; son, Robert J. Miller of Emmaus; eight grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. He was predeceased by a son George Franklin Miller in 1962. Services: Mass of Christian Burial Friday, 11:00 am in the church.
