George El-Chaar
George El-Chaar, of Allentown, died February 24 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Lebanon to the late George and Maria (Maroun) El-Chaar and was predeceased by his wife, of 68 years, Fadileh El-Chaar this past November. He was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, Allentown.
Survivors: Sons, Wagih of Bethlehem and Tony of Allentown; Daughters, Marie Khouri of Australia, Mona Azar of Catasauqua, Jacquelyne Letayf of Lebanon, Venise Younes of Allentown, and Giselle Kuehner of Whitehall; 19 Grandchildren; 7 Great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 AM, Monday February 28 at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, 444 N. Jasper St., Allentown PA. Viewing: 6:00Pm - 8:00Pm on Sunday February 27 and on Monday 8:30Am-9:30 Am at Weber Funeral Home, 502 Ridge Ave., Allentown. (www.weberfuneralhomes.com)
