George E. Eck Jr.
George E. Eck Jr. (Pappy) (Fats) 83, of Allentown devoted, loving father and grandfather passed away at Westminster Village on March 27. Prior, he resided with his daughter Christine & son-in-law Jose Vega. Born in Allentown he was the son of the late George and Emma (Smith) Eck Sr. He was the husband of the late Kathleen Eck who passed away in 2006 they were married 50 years. George was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Allentown; he was employed by UGI Gas Co. for 40 years as a service technician, he was also an avid hunter. George served in the Army during WWII.
Survivors: Sons; George III, William. Daughters; Patricia, Felicia. Christine, Lisa, Lori, Beth Ann all of Allentown. Many grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
Services: Visitation; Tuesday, March 30 7:00pm - 9:00pm & Wednesday, March 31 9:00am to 10:00am followed by services all in Weber Funeral Home 502 Ridge Ave. Allentown (www.weberfuneralhomes.com)
