George K. Betz

George K. Betz, 72, of Coopersburg, passed away on Dec. 10, 2015 at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem. Born in Philadelphia; he was a son of the late Wilhelm K.F. and Rose (Groeber) Betz. He was the loving husband of Barbara (Stahley) Betz for over 51 years. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy. George was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Ottsville and the American Legion in Perkasie. He volunteered at the Ottsville Fire Dept. George enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing and swimming.

Survivors: Wife, Barbara; Children, Karen and her husband Steven Noblit, Kathy Betz, and Kevin Betz; Grandchildren, Jason Kot, Adam Noblit and Carlye Noblit.

Services: A viewing will be held from 9:00 - 10:45 AM with a service to follow at 11:00 AM on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015 at NORCROSS-WEBER FUNERAL HOME, N. Main and Oxford Sts., Coopersburg, PA. Interment will follow at Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery, Perkasie. (www.weberfuneralhomes.com)
