George Azar, 46, of Allentown passed away Saturday July 22, 2006 at his home. He was the husband of Margaret (Takach) Azar for nine years before her death on November 6, 2004. Born in Allentown he was a son of the late Joseph and Rose (Albert) Azar. George was co-owner of Matt-n-Az Auto Sales of Allentown for the past 13 years and a pillar of the Arab- American community. He will be greatly missed by brother, David J. and wife Nancy of Allentown; sisters, Naifeh wife of Eli Dergham of Whitehall, Sally R. Haddad wife of the late Alfred M. Haddad of South Whitehall Twp., Isabell Azar, Esther M. Azar, Venice J. Azar and Barbie J. Azar all of Allentown; beloved nieces and nephews and an abundance of friends.
