Gene, 66, of Allentown was called home Wednesday, June 26th surrounded by his loving family. He enjoyed fishing and bowling. He worked at Muhlenberg College for several years before retiring in 2000.

Survivors: He is survived by his wife Betty (Schafer) Shupp with whom he just celebrated their 10 year anniversary on June 2nd and 28 years of love; daughters Brenda and Tammy; step daughters Shelly, Emmy-Jo, and Torrie; 3 grandsons; 7 granddaughters; 2 great-granddaughters; nieces; nephews; and friends, include his dog "Moe".
