Franklin W. Saeger, 82, of Trexlertown, died March 16, 2024 at Lehigh Valley Hospital after a brief illness.  He was the father of Scott Saeger. Born in Cetronia, he was the husband of the late Mary E. Saeger, to whom he had been married for 47 years before she passed away in October, 2010.  He was the son of the late Paul and Margaret Saeger of Cetronia.  He honorably served in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1964 before embarking on several successful careers in the Lehigh Valley and Phoenix, Arizona, including pipe fitting, several service stations and a bicycle sales and repair shop.

Survivors:  Son, Scott W. Saeger of Trexlertown; brother-in-law Philip S. Mortensen of Branford, CT; and nieces and nephews and their grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Monday at 1:30 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 2 p.m. in the mausoleum at Grandview Cemetery, 27356 Walbert Avenue, Allentown.
