Frank J. Sandy
Frank J. Sandy 70, of Allentown, passed away on August 5th in St. Luke's Hospital. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Miller) Sandy. Frank was the wife of Alice (Lotz) Sandy for 42 years. Frank was a Police Officer in Upper Saucon Twp. for 17 years, retiring in 1981. He was a proud Marine Veteran and had been a 5 time past Master of Saucon Lodge 469, Coopersburg. Frank & his wife were proprietors of Black Forrest Chalet Allentown for 7 years.
Survivors: Wife, Sons; Michael F. Sandy of Allentown & his companion; Susan Vitulli of E. Stroudsburg, Frank Jr. & his wife Donna Sandy of Georgia, James of Coopersburg. Daughter; Debra wife of Stephen Good of Coopersburg, Suzanne wife of Daniel Wanish of Tennessee. Sister; Ruth Ann of Macungie. 10 Grandchildren & many nieces & nephews. Frank was predeceased by a son Robert Lee Jacoby in 1997, Brother, Richard Sandy, & a Sister, Barbara Clugston.
