Francis "Frank" M. Pope, Sr., age 84, of Allentown, passed away Friday, March 11, 2022 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He was born May 28, 1937 in Summit Hill, PA, the son of the late Victor and Anna (Kralick) Ploplis.

Frank graduated in the Class of 1955 from Red Bank Catholic High School and after earned his Bachelor Degree in Accounting from Saint Peter's University, both in New Jersey. He worked as the Chief Financial Officer of Knoll International for many years. Frank was very passionate about golf, he even had two holes-in-one throughout the years he played. He was also a member of the Brookside Country Club.

He is survived by his loving spouse of almost 64 years, Bertha B. (Boynton) Pope of Allentown; son, Francis M. Pope, Jr. of Allentown; Sarah (James) Murphy of Malvern, PA; two grandsons, Bradley Morris and Andrew Yocum; four great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph (Jean) Ploplis of Ohio; and three sisters, Nancy Veselka, Barbara (Peter) Carton, and Victoria Biersack.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Regina LeVan; and three brothers.

Professional Services are entrusted to Weber Funeral Homes, P.C. in Allentown. Services will be private. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Contributions may be made in Frank's memory to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692 or a charity of your choice.
