Francis "Mac" E. McGinley, 94, of Allentown, passed away peacefully December 24, 2024. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Edward F. and Grace M. (Snyder) McGinley-Dougherty. Francis was preceded in passing by his loving wife of 64 years, Mary T. (Walters) McGinley in 2016.

Francis worked for Bell Telephone as a senior utility man and served in the Army National Guard medical corp. He was an active member of the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Siena and was an usher at 10:30AM mass. He was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus 528 Council and 4th Degree of Bishop Welsh Assembly 931; also a lifetime member of the Fearless Fire Co. and Blue Mountain Fish and Game Association.

He enjoyed fishing and his music.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters: Kathleen, wife of Jeff Epting, and Joanne, wife of Terry Heiney; four grandchildren: Lisa, wife of Craig Underwood, Lori and her fiance, Graig Selgrath, Michele, wife of Shawn Kerrigan, and Thomas Heiney and his wife, Gabrielle; ten great-grandchildren: Madeline, Ryan, Jacob, Ayden, Ella Grace, Alayna, Alexandra, Khyra, Kyle, and Brent.

A viewing will be held Friday, January 3, 2025 from 9:30AM to 10:30AM at Weber Funeral Home 502 Ridge Avenue Allentown, PA 18102. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11AM at the Cathedral Church of St. Catherine of Siena 1825 W Turner Street Allentown, PA 18104. Burial with military honors to follow at Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Francis' memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
