Francis E. "Dixie" Greenawalt, of Allentown passed away on January 25 at the age of 83. He was born at home in Alburtis to the late: Howard and Florence (Oles) Greenawalt and was predeceased by his wife Beatrice in 2005. He had retired in 1990 after working for 25 years with Penn D.O.T. Dixie was an avid fisherman, hunter, and model train enthusiast. He was a member of Dubbs Memorial U.C.C. in Allentown. Survivors: Sons: Eugene F. of Catty, Daryl L. and John H. both of Allentown. Daughter Roxanne G. and husband Tony DeMilio of New Tripoli. Sister Dolly Janezic 5 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. Services: a viewing will be held on Monday January 31 from 10AM until a service at 11Am both at Weber Funeral Home, 1619 Hamilton Street in Allentown. Contributions can be made to the church.
