Fotine Nomie passed away on January 1, 2018 at her home in Whitehall, Pa surrounded by family members. Fotine was the wife of the late Youssef Joseph Nomie and the daughter of the late: Khalil and Rahmeh Azar. She was born on March 20, 1918 in Amar, Syria. At the age of 31, she immigrated to Trinidad, West Indies, where she resided for 25 years before permanently moving to the United States in 1975. Fotine was predeceased by her sister Norma Azar of Portland, Or. and her brother Diab Azar of Emmaus, Pa.

Survivors: Three Sons: Aziz Joseph of Trinidad, husband of the late Joan Joseph, Frederick Nomie of Whitehall, husband of Camella, and Diab Nomie of Whitehall, husband of Afifa, as well as six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Services: A viewing will be held on Wednesday January 3rd from 8:15-9:15AM to be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30AM both will be at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Allentown. Interment will be at Laurel Cemetery.

Contributions: May be made to the church. Condolences will be taken at 1009 Riverview St., Whitehall.
