Esther Vanin, age 80, of Center Valley, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. She was born May 15, 1942 in Flatonia, TX, the daughter of the late Jesse and Mahaila (Evans) Cunningham.

Esther did a lot of freelance caretaking in her life. In 1973, she met her husband, Charles while he was stationed at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX. She loved her bingo and taking care of the children who needed it. She will be remembered as the wonderful mother figure she was.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Charles Vanin of Center Valley; brother, Moon Cunningham of TX; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by many siblings.

A Public Viewing will be held on Friday, May 19, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. until the time of Funeral Services at 11:00 A.M. all at Norcross-Weber Funeral Home, Inc. 101B N. Main Street, Coopersburg, PA 18036. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at act.alz.org.
