Esther M. Kornafel, 74, of Allentown, passed away May 4 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Salisbury Twp. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Violet (Kaiser) Patterson. She was a member of St. Michael's Byzantine Church. Survivors: Sons, David, Robert, Charles, Earl, Michael, and John Thompson; daughter, Dianne Krout; 14 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; brothers, Robert and Paul Patterson; sisters, Betty Meitzler, and Dorothy Navarre; many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by sons, Edward and Jeffrey; one grandchild and 5 brothers. Services: Mass of Christian burial Wed 10am in the church, 156 Green St. Allentown.
