Esther G. Brein, age 78, of Lancaster, PA, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022 at UPMC West Shore Hospital. She was born May 10, 1944 in Hornell, New York.

She graduated as the class salutatorian of 1962  from Arkport Central School. She graduated from Elim Bible Institute in 1970, where she studied missions. She worked in the payroll department of different companies throughout the years. She was a member of Lancaster First Assembly of God for 30 years. Her hobbies included reading, doing puzzles, watching home makeover shows, and being around her family. She will be remembered by her love of God, people, education, and her peanut butter fudge.

Esther is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Robert A. Brein of Lancaster; daughter, Rebecca J. (Michael) Judith of Lancaster and daughter, Sarah E. (Victor) Velez of Lancaster; her five grandchildren, Jonathan, Michael, Stephen, Alexandra, and Victoria; two great-granddaughters; and two sisters, Ruth Barnes and Sandra Hann.

In addition to her parents, Loid and Gertrude Henry, she was predeceased by four brothers, Howard, Lloyd, Kenneth, and James.

Professional Services are entrusted to Weber Funeral Homes, P.C. in Allentown, PA. Services will be held on December 14, 2022 at First Assembly of God, Lancaster, Pa.
