Ernest E. Atiyeh, Jr.

Ernest E. Atiyeh, Jr., 72, of Allentown, died April 23, 2015 at Lehigh Valley Hospital. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Ernest E. and Winifred (Howard) Atiyeh, Sr. Ernest was the loving husband of Judith (Hauser) Atiyeh for 51 years on March 28, 2015. Ernest won the Governor's Award in 2001, was President of the Community Neighborhood Organization in Allentown, and a former President of the Midway Manor Community Association. He enjoyed rooting for all Philadelphia sports teams and cheering on Jeff Gordon.

Survivors: Wife, Judith; Son, David E., husband of Michele; Daughter, Debra, wife of Richard Jones; Grandsons, Nicholas Atiyeh, Joshua and Richard Jones; Sisters, Venice Crouthamel, Ernestine Haddad, and Virginia Haddad; Brother in Law, James Hauser; Sister in Law, Linda Hauser; two loving companions, Abby and Meme; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by a sister, Ruth Ann Raad, and two brothers in law, George Haddad and Richard Crouthamel.
