Emma R. McFadden passed away Feb. 7 at Cedarbrook Nursing Home. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Mulzet) Gotzi. Emma was the wife of John R. McFadden who passed in 1960. Emma was an operator for Bell Telephone in the 1930's, and later worked at Central Catholic High School in the cafeteria from 1956 until her retirement in 1972. Emma served as secretary for the Women's Auxiliary of the St. Francis Society and was a member of St. Aloysius Young Men's Society. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Allentown. Survivors: Son, Dr. John McFadden and wife Mary Ann; grandchildren, Mary Ellen, Dr. Patricia Ann, John Lloyd and Daniel Michael; great grandchildren, Cierra Le-Ann, Branagan Nash, Tannor Allan and Delaney Grace. She was predeceased by brothers, William, Raymond and John Gotzi, and sisters, Mary Kober, Bertha Thomas, and Hilda Gotzi. Services: Mass of Christian burial 10am Saturday, 336 N. 4th St. Allentown.
